"I am always trying to eat less, exercise more - something. So I loved the tips that this book and website have. The recipes and downloadable forms are great to help keep you on track - if nothing else to make you think about what you are eating. And I loved finding out my eating personality.....apparently I am a lion...roaaar! Which means I need a high protein low carb diet plan. Interesting! Which one are you?"

"I have to say this book was very easy to relate to, along with understanding on the steps you take to Living the Thin Life!! It was full of useful information on how to cope with your everyday life and staying on the right track to getting your body into shape and looking and feeling great! I would highly suggest getting this book and reading it, because if you need a boost to get into gear this book is perfect for you!"

"Living The Thin Life offers advice and tips in the realm of Pep Talks, Food Tips, Exercise and more. It provides helpful food logs, recipes, and personal plan worksheets. At the end of each chapter you even have homework assignments to help keep you moving along in her book. Of the recipes listed, the Crab Mushroom Omelet sounds like a winner to me! In all, I think this is a great reference book to have and use to help keep you motivated in losing weight and maintaining the weight loss."

"While reading this book I found it to be full of useful (and motivational!) tips, how to identify your own eating personality (I'm a koala), detailed guides on how to customize your plan, quizzes, and so much more. As a diet tool I found it very helpful. What I took away from the book was that finding my style of dieting is what is most important. This book is perfect for anyone wanting to find a style of dieting that suits their personal needs."

"What I really loved about this book is that the author is not a professional nutritionist or fitness instructor. Elle Meyer is a woman who has figured out how to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle and is sharing her tips and tricks in this book. There are also a lot of recipes at the end of the book, that I can't wait to try out. This book is a easy read with loads of great information and I feel like this will be a handy reference for the rest of my life."

"Living the Thin Life - Creative Ways to Maintain Your Weight for Life has so many great tips for maintaining a healthy weight. Not all of the tips will work for everyone, but it is packed full of tips that I think could work for me! Busy moms have a hard time sticking to a strict diet and exercise plan. This book helps to find the right plan for you so that you don’t have to spend a lot of time thinking about a diet – and instead can focus on your family!"

"I am always struggling with weight loss. It seems I would lose it, gain it back and then some, lose it, gain it back and then some, lose it, gain......you get the message. I was thrilled to be able to review the book Living the Thin Life. Elle has a unique way of linking an animal to your eating personality type. I am a Koala! So I need to focus on those specific tips that are related to my eating personality type (one size, or animal, doesn't fit all!). No surprise to me....I need to eliminate sweets and starchy foods."

"I found the book to be filled with helpful suggestions that would fit into everyone's daily lifestyle. It's laid out nicely and you'll enjoy learning about how Elle Meyer did it herself and is now here to help the rest of us along.
We all want to lose some more weight, right? I have found with the help of this book that it can be done. It's not really hard either - you just need to make up your mind and start making those good daily choices every day and repeat over and over again. One of the recipes I tried was Breaded Salmon and it was absolutely delicious. My kids even thought I had deep fried it because the panko breadcrumbs stuck to the Salmon so nicely.
So go check her book out and join me in this plan to eat healthier and hopefully lose some weight once and for all."

Easy to read, entertaining, informative - a departure from the "one-size-fits-all" mentality of most diet books, it offers practical solutions that can be adapted to any lifestyle. I especially enjoyed the chapter on eating personality - it really helped me figure out the best diet plan for me.
